urethane floor finishing?

I saw a commercial for a urethane hardwood floor finish. For walking on it must be durable stuff. Has anyone here ever tried something like that for pens? Could be an inexpensive answer to finding a glossy and long-lasting finish.

LOu had mentioned using"Future" floor finish in a thread in finishing concerning water based polyurethanes a few months back.
