This pick guard has been a lot of fun. Thanks again John.
Both were sanded to 12000 MM and then CA/BLO finish.

Wow Shane, you've been busy! I prefer the picguard with the paduak over the walnut, but that's just my personal preference.

The laminate is pick guard. It comes as a tri-ply. This one is black-white-black. It is used in making guitars, hence the name pick guard. You can order it in different colors I think. Check the grizzly tool site. Their boss is a luthier and has added an extensive section on guitar making accessories including the pickguard. I have been having a lot of fun with this. John (Deere41h) sent me a couple of chunks of the stuff and I have been playing with it. Thanks again John.

Shane, I just got my three sheets from Grizzly in today and I can't wait to use some of it! [8D] No more credit cards and snuff cans for me. Unless I want a color other than black & white or cream. [:p]

They look great Shane. I like the Padauk because the kit works with the pickguard. The walnut would IMHO look better with a white or black kit to accent the pickguard.
