Two Color Slimlines - Have a Question

I do not remember seeing a thread about doing a two part cast. I first cast the two-color center, then re-cast to add the end caps. I cast these with Silmar and Pearl Ex (5% by weight). My question is, does the clip look better against the single color part of the barrel or the two color part?

IMO it looks better against the gold color.
