OK so here is the story on this pen.
I belong to a world war 2 reenacting group and a couple of months back the group was invited to an airshow to set up a display and we hit it off with the event coordinator (he let the guys sleep in the air conditioned hanger that he just built) So the guys wanted to get a thank you gift for him. So I said that I could make a pen for him. And they said "Great lets do it!" I (like the fool that I am said well I could do a pen in the colors of his favorite plane. Well he owns 4 all war birds (not counting the bomber that he just bought, I know to have that problem of what to buy with my money) but his favorite is Twilight Tear a P-51 Mustang, so I said "Cool I can go a 50 cal pen in the color of the plane. What is the color?"
Well here is a picture of said plane.
So what I should have done was look at the picture 1st then say I could do the pen.
But this is what I came up with. I think it works.
What do you all say?
