Has anyone around here turned Tulip Vine? I realize that it can cause skin irritation like Poison Ivy, so dust masks and dust collection would be necessary.

It has an odd growth pattern with 4 wood like parts seperated by an x shaped pith, so one would either need to use a very large piece where a section would be large enough to make something with, or one would have to seperate the 4 parts and build up some lamination.

I can get my hands on some of this stuff, but am not sure if it is worth the trouble of dealing with the hazerdous wood.
