Titan/El Grande Pencil Mechanism?

Hello all

I have now been turning the Titan pen from HUT and really like it. I also bought a pencil mechanism that is suppose to work in the pen kit, my question is, how is this installed???

I don't know about the Titan, but for the El Grande, the schmidt pencil mech is a drop in replacement for the ink refill. It's that easy! []

You probably have a Schmidt DSM 2006 pencil cartridge. In some kits, the pencil cartridge is an exact substitute for the Parker ballpoint cartridge. In some kits, minor alteratiions are required to make the pencil cartridge work. Assuming HUT did not provide any such instructions, all you should need to do is install the pencil cartridge in the pen.(the spring that is used with the ballpoint cartridge is not required)

Twist the cap several times and the pencil lead should appear. When the lead is extended as far as you want it to be, twist the cap in the opposite direction to lock the lead in place otherwise it will slip back into the mechanism when you try to write.
