Well, I tried it and he is right. It is not a scam. In fact, Time Warner apparently owes me money from my previous San Antonio address. So I followed the link to claim it. When I discovered that they owed me $0.02 I canceled the claim. LOL!

I did this once or my Mother with the state of Florida site and she got money from a pension acct she forgot she had when she worked at the school board office.

I tried it but no luck for me but I found my sons name(same as mine with II) twice. both say less then $100 but... I will post later what he finds.

I tried it and didn't find my name, but I found that my brother in Texas had 4 out there. Now to see if he shares...
