Well, sorry for the pic, camera phone, need to buy a new camera this week.

The design worked out this time, yellow heart and purple heart checker board, with a Bubinga strip. Just have to work on strightness of the glue up i think. Oh and getting the segmented strips all the same size and thickness.

To those who do a lot of great segmentation, my hat is tipped to you and I offer you a cold one anytime we ever meet...

Dennis,

Repeatable crisp, accurate segmentation requires the use of jigs, hold-downs and stop blocks
following by a well-planned glue up and topped off by drilling thru the middle.
And, as a master craftsman and friend used to tell me, "Plan your pen from the middle out."
