Good evening!
In my drawer I had a piece of cocobolo and some acryl and I thought I could combine them together to a goodlooking pen, so I saw them up to pieces:
After sawing I have of course glue them together: (check my high tech glue jig...)
After glueing the turning has to happen with this product as an end result:
I have to excuse me for the crappy fotos, the combination of a bad camera on the phone with an even worse photographer is not a guarantee for a nice result... :wink:
Because I don't like the high gloss you recieve with finishing with CA glue, I finished it with 3 layers of beeswax after sanding and MM to 12000.
