The 'Jurassic fountain pen'

G'day!
Swamp Kauri from New Zealand (50,000 years old)are prehistoric Kauri trees buried and preserved in Peat
I did a texture ca look which resembles the skin of mandarins
The cap is ancient and figured redgum from the Murray River in Australia. The trees absorbed the silt at the bottom of the river bed and became almost black. Carbon dated to 10,000 years old.
There is some figure in it also.
Fully sleeved with ebonite, jowo #6 nib. Kirinite section.

Thanks! I use thick ca, apply with shop towel, and dab quickly before it starts to set. Then repeat 8 times, then 2 coats of thin and that's it. No sanding
