This review is regarding the JR. Majestic kits from PSI, including the fountain
This kit is also available at exotic blanks.com
I purchased my kits from exotics. Prices:
FTN: $47 for the 22k gold, $32 for the black ti
RB: $39 for the 22k gold, $28 for the black ti
These are exotics prices, not including bulk discounts
The instructions are a bit confusing. There are a truckload of parts, but it goes together the same way as the gents do. The plus side is that the piece of metal that fits against the barrel and threads is attached, so you won't lose it. This kit uses different bushings, so the body doesn't have a taper, allowing you to choose the front and back after you are done turning.
I turned a few of these, and they turned out beautiful. They have a much more "jewel encrusted" look that even the statesman. They have a finial accent at both ends, and an accent band at the top and bottom of the cap. The clip also has a swovarzki (however you spell it) crystal embedded in it. This pen looks great with casting and tru stone, nice burl wood looks pretty good too.
Attached photo is a 22k gold jr. majestic rollerball in black and gold matrix tru stone.
