:wink:This blank was so striking (at least to me:rolleyes:) that I thought it best paired up with the Zen kit from CSUSA. Once again, another mini-pine cone cast with Alumilite / pressure pot / CA finish +15 coats and a good wet sanding with MM 1500-12,000. My wife said it reminded her of those amazing Space Station pictures of the oceans….

Fantastic colours, really wonderful. I think Zen is one of the best kits to showcase a lovely blank, so great choice mate. Did you make these blanks Mark?

Beautiful Mark!! I really like how this one turned out.

The pine cone scales look like a fleet of ancient Greek triremes as they might of been seen from above....Very Cool!

Yes Sean, I poured these blanks my self. It's like unwrapping a Christmas present….You know something is in there but you can't find out until you peel away the layers of wrapping!:wink:
