Hi,

My stocks of Bocte are running low, but found a great piece that was just big enough hide down the back of the blank pile!

Still playing with the new photo setup, but I'm liking the results!

I don't use wood too often but bocote is one that I like the most.
Difficult to explain, but to me it's the wood that 'most looks like wood' if you know what I mean.

That blank is a beauty, very nicely coupled with the cigar kit.

Mind if I ask what type of lens you use on you photo setup?

Just using one of the Fujifilm cameras. One that looks like a dSLR but has a fixed lens. Quite old as well, probably 6 years. Just seems to work well for close-ups and without a tripod. Strange as its awful when used for normal photography!!

Thanks Phil. Yea, point and shoot cameras often do well for macro shots. Very nice pen and photo.
