Textured Elm Bowl with ebonized rim and Candy Metal Flake fade on exterior. Around 8" (20 cm) across. Finished exterior with waterborne lacquer, interior with polyurethane.

Thanks everyone, this was a fun experiment to combine texture with Candy Metal Flake colors.

I really like the texture. That makes it look so unique. Did you have to use an airbrush to do the blend of colors?

Thanks, yes the blend was done with an airbrush. I used Autoair automotive airbrush colors

I agree with the awesome. How did you do the texture?

Thanks, the texture was done with the set of 5 diamond cutoff wheels from HF powered by a Dremel like tool. Just skim the surface with the cutoff wheel in an arc cutting grooves as deep as you feel attractive.
