Texan in Missouri looking for wood

Greetings Y'all!

We are visiting MO, West Branson (Reeds Spring MO) area. I wonder if I can find some free Ohio Buckeye, Black Walnut, Boxedler, Eastern Redcedar, and/or some other nice native woods.
Any suggestion to where I may find some of these to take home, dry them cut up, and maybe make some wooden object!

Look in the phone book for sawmills in the area. Sometimes the closest Craigslist has some of the local sawmills listed the area.

Richard, you are in our area! We are in Aurora, MO. For Exotics and domestics I go to OP Hardwoods in Springfield. I hear but not have been that there is also a very nice store in the Halltown MO area (I do not know the name).
