Termite/Bug "Waste"

I have some great Texas Mesquite that has some termite and/or bug "waste" running through a part of it. It looks REALLY cool and I would like to try and save this part. Is there any way to stabilize this pooh?

Try drizzling thin CA into the holes. I did this with a pecan bowl that had bug trails through it.

You can also submerge the blank in Min-wax wood Hardener (TM) for a couple of days, then set out to dry and once dry apply the thin CA. Be prepared to apply more thin CA as you turn since the inside may still be a bit "crumbly". Oh yea, and use very sharp tools and light cuts. Good luck.

I have some spalted Hackberry with bug "tracks" vac'd in some PC Petrifier presently, I'll post how it comes out in a day or so.
