Thanks to Gary Max for the experimental tobacco blank. He let me know ahead of time that the tobacco "floated" a bit, but it seems the general concept works. I rushed a little too much and wound up with some white spots I should have avoided. Next time we'll go for the gold and take the time required. A little denser mix and bigger blank and it will be time to try a tobacco Cigar pen.

The blank came from another IAP member, Gary Max. You might try contacting him if you'd like to purchase some blanks. He is in Kenturcky and I believe the blanks are cast by him using local crops.

Gary how much are you selling the blanks for. I have a brother that retired in Georgia from Brown and Williams Tobacco company and now B&W is no longer i would love to make a pen for him. Let me know something.

Very NICE!! I'll bet it has a nice smell to it as well, like the coffee bean blanks do. Some cherry-rum pipe tobacco --- now that would be a pleasure to turn.
