I made a bunch of pens last weekend so to do something different, I tried a suspended bowl. This is Maple w/ a Cherry top. It is about 7 X 4 X 3H. It has not been finished yet, it needs some more sanding. This is my first attempt at this and it has some flaws but it sure was fun! I can see lots of possibilities and variety in these. The good news: I still have all the skin on my knuckles!

Thanks for looking.

Great job. I have seen these for a while now and this really makes me want to make one.

Yep I have been looking through all of his articles. He makes it look so easy. Yet I tried to turn a regular bowl today from Walnut and after two artillery launches I gave up and turned a pen, lol.
