I bought some Berea American Elegant pen kits from Bill Baumbeck. Got the usual good service from Bill, not to mention him throwing a stablilzed pen blank in with my order.
From the top down:
Bethlehem Olive Wood
Black Locust Burl
Box Elder
Lacy Sheoak
Curly Jarrah
Finish is done with one coat of water base sealer on the lathe and two coats of water base poly, dipped and spun. Finally a polish with Ren Wax.
