I am making a matching pen and pencil set for a customer. I am using the Perfect Fit pens. My question is what is the best way to fix it so the the pen is easily distinguishable from the pencil. I have two different center bands. I could do that. Are there any other suggestions?

How about doing an identical slanted segment on both, except use 2 different colors/species of wood/acrylic for the segment piece.

The pencil mechanism will stick out of the nib a little (as if it were a pen with the refill extended all the time). A glance a the nib will tell you if it's a pen or a pencil.

Eric
This is the way I distinguish my PF pen/pencil sets.
