Just started to make the kits Anthony got on the group buy , does the part where you hold the pen in your hand have to be straight or can it be barrel shaped , will the cap post if it is barrel shaped . Dont want to get it all assembled and not work. TIA

Gentle curves are the norm for this pen. Almost nothing you can do will prevent the cap from posting as the threads on the cap fit the post on the bottom.

Thanks Lou . Just so i am sure we are talking about the same thing, i may be misunderstanding POST as the cap being placed on the opposite end as you are writing. Is this correct?

Bud--Forget what I said earlier! I had forgotten that the cap for the Jr. Statesman <b>does not post</b>.
