Hello everyone. I've been lurking around here for quite some time and thought it was about time to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I'm from Lakewood, Ca. I've only pen turning pens for about 2 months but I love it. I grew up as a machinist working at my dad's shop, so I have a little turning experience. Work's been a little slow, so I thought, "hell, I can do that". I've hit some snags as any new woodworker wood, but my work is progressing nicely (I think anyway). I've put a few of my pens for sale on ETSY if anyone is interested. Here's the link- http://www.SouthCoastPenworks.etsy.com. All comments and feedback are welcome.
Thanks,
-Mike

Welcome Mike! The day you quit hitting snags in woodworking is the day you stopped pushing the envelope!

As Butch (lbd2000) says " There are no mistakes, just happy accidents"

Don Ward (its_virgil) will tell you to "do a good turn daily"

All good advice!
