This is what happens when your science fiction nut college sophomore asks her geeky father to make a pen for her boyfriend for Christmas. Vader is off to the boy. The x-wing is staying with me.

I wanted to just cast the blanks but too cold for the casting in the garage and the PR smell isn't a good Christmas scent for the house, so I cut the blanks down and built up the blank with CA after attaching the stamp. They turned out better than I hoped and my daughter was very happy with the results, which was what the important part.
