A couple of weeks ago, my Wonderful Wifey asked if I could make a stained glass panel for the quilt club auction. The quilt pattern is a Lemoyne Star and the panel is 12"x12". She picked out the glass from my stash and I only had to buy one piece to complete the color palate. Foil method with 60/40 solder, zinc frame. I also made a quick stand so the panel could be displayed in front of a light box at the auction.
The auction was last night and the piece brought $80 for the club.
A bonus for me was to get my glass bench cleaned off as well as my glass cutting table usable again. It had boxes of pen supplies stacked on it.

Very nice and congrats on bringing a nice bid for the club. My older brother used to make those many years ago. Seeing yours took me back for a moment when I used to stare at every new one he made. I loved them but never got into making them myself. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jay! I'm glad this brought back a good memory for you.
