So this is some Maple that I brought back from Oregon that was completely unusable - that is until I won the Cactus Juice stabilizing system from Curtis. :biggrin:

I've adapted the Zen kit into a Lanyard kit - and now with breakaway parts, thanks to many great suggestions and a helpful link from IAP member "ghostrider.":good:

Keep in mind that this wood was punky to the extent of dusty. I still had to go super slow and still had one blank blow up on me when I got too agressive.

Yes there are a gazillion photos,:redface::redface: but I just love the wood and was trying to capture the shimmer that the stabilizing juice adds to the blank.
