I haven't turned any closed end type stuff for a while so I gave it a go tonight. Surprisingly it went without a hitch. The blank is one of my own and was reverse painted first with a light blue and then black behind that. Gave a nice effect but the camera doesn't capture it entirely. Still working on that perfect camera setting but these came out nice.

Next is a Chrome Long Click. This was a leftover blank from a custom order I did a while back. Reverse painted black which gave off a really nice effect:

As always thanks for looking! Any comments/critiques/questions are welcomed and appreciated!

Jonathon, two beautiful pens as usual. Enjoy the short time you have to play in the shop now, for in a few short months, your bride is going to "require" your undivided assistance for years to come.:) Happy days will be here shortly.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! They always mean alot to me.

Really like the 'squared off' end on that closed end...well done.

Scott

Thanks Scott. I dunno why but that's the design I always put on my closed end pens. I guess that's what my eye prefers since I do like box-type designs.

Those look great. I turned my first click and boy there is no room for error going from the nib to the blank.

Jorge

Thanks Jorge, yeah you've got no room for error at all! I did this between centers to get the best fit. I really should have done my cigar nib mod but didn't think of it until after I glued in the stock tube. Oh well...
