Spanish Oak Mistletoe Burl from Curtis Seebeck and Exotic Blanks

This is another addition in Curtis Seebeck's "Worthless Wood" collection. It's a Jr Statesman Fountain Pen in Spanish Oak Mistletoe Burl that I got from Exotic Blanks. It's a beautiful wood that I tried to photograph so you guys could see the detail. The resin on the top and bottom are of different shade on the front picture. On the rear or side of the pen the colors are somewhat similar.
I marvel at the way the resin flows through the cracks in the dried wood. I really like the "Worthless Wood" collection. You have have to sharpen tools frequently as the wood is oak. Sanded to 600 grit, CA finish X 6 coats.
