Thanks guys.
The woods in this one are hard maple and African mahogany and black walnut.
I used cheap pine and poplar and such while practicing the procedure and I think I have reached the point of trying better woods like in this one .

The possibilities are endless when getting into this form of turning/woodworking

Like everything else , they are easy peasy :biggrin: once you learn how to do it .
