Having made a custom bullet pen a month ago, I have had a lot of interest for a few more. Made a batch of 4 and did not even have time to take a photo of all 4 together before they disappeared. Found that 7*64 shells work great as a 7mm tube fits perfectly. The dark one is African Blackwood and the other Snakebean. I tried to do a crosshair on the screw, but the slots are to wide, so left them as is. Only noticed on the photo that the felt in the case slipped. To late to take another one now

Just as a matter of curiosity, what would a pen and case like this go for in the US +-?

I try and make the complete pen out of a single casing. After cutting the tip, base and centreband, I spiral cut the rest and flatten the section, before forming the clip section. As the brass at the base of the shell is relatively thicker than the rest, I drill a 2.5 mm hole and tap it to 3mm. I then attach the clip with 3mm brass bolt that has been cut to about 5mm and a little CA.
