I finally got a few more Jr.Statesman pens turned and photographed. The crushed shell blanks turn like a dream! The Tru-Stone less so - none of which is pictured). :( I was kind of disappointed in the Malachite, but the Lapis was better, as was the turquoise. Since these pens use the same tubes and bushings as the Jr. Gent II's, anything that isn't "top flight" gets outfitted with Jr. Gent hardware. That way, I still have made a pen and I'm not wasting good hardware ;)

Comments welcome!

Thanks,
Mark

I love the crushed shell. Your photographs are excellent! Nice thinking on the kit use, I usually order a few extra tubes so I can get just the right blank made into a pen.

Great work on all three.
