here's some items i've been working on lately. first is my first go at a pepper mill, made from cherry (thanks ed for all your help!), finished with arm-r-seal gloss.
next is a bowl, 7.5" x 3", made from either mulberry or siberian elm (found the log around town and it was an alley tree but never got to see it up or with leaves or anything), maybe you folks would know.
last pic has my first go at an end grain cutting board, had some headaches with this sucker. couldn't get good joint lines so nothing lined up like it was planned to but its still a nice cutting board
, it's hard rock maple and purpleheart. atop the board is a wooden spoon i made from cherry and a wand for a nephew made from maple and some really curly koa.
