Some Bowls

[Works-in-Wood]

As I don't make Pens....(yet) I thought I'd post a couple of bowls that I've made. The first is Elm about 10" x 8" x 3" high. The second is a natural edge Hawthorn bowl 8" x 6" x 3" high.

I really like the hawthorn...
I've only worked with it once or twice because it's so hard to find in a decent size around here.
The elm looks superb as well.

excellant work and a very interesting design. tryin to figure out how to do that with out knocking my knuckles.. Going to have to give that a try in the near future.

That's the one problem with natural edged and square edge bowls - the propellor effect ! Fortunately one learns to work with them extremely carefully.
