After the last cold spell (when my pipes froze and I was without water for over a week), I should have known better than to post pictures from Florida.

Well, yesterday I was rewarded for the http://www.penturners.org/forum/f18/waterfowl-152696/ thread with over a foot of snow. Would anybody like to sit out on the deck with me?

We may have to watch out for falling icicles,

But at least you can almost see my tractor from here.

My house wasn't the only one affected. This hawk's nest got snowed in too. I hope he's ok in there.

Unless this is him:

Here are a couple more snow abstracts. I think this one looks like a heron's head.

I'll let you decide for yourself what this reminds you of.

Just be careful wandering about - when the wind blows you might get deluged.

I hope you enjoyed the winter snapshots,
Eric

Wow Eric, I thought Ohio gets bad.

However, yesterday while I was using a reasonably heavy duty Snowblower up my 100' driveway the blades got jammed and stalled out. I thought a branch got stuck and it snapped the shear pin.

No branch - a frozen squirrel... But the shear pin was OK! Sorry, no pictures.

Looks like Western Kentucky. At least a warm up is on the way. In the meantime, a comfy recliner and a big pot of Chili would be nice.
