Hi Again,
After my African Blackwood fiasco on the weekend, i decided to go with a different kind of wood!
Sorry if this gets a bit boring, but for now i only have Streamline pens to work on, this will change in the near future!
So it is my Step Daughters 20th birthday in a few days and i decided to add a pen to her gifts! Something to inspire her to write her exams and do well in!
It is a Tulipwood Pen.
For the first time the MinWax finish is looking amazing, it has really brought the wood to life.
So far it has about 5 coats on and it is almost dry. Then it will get a very light sand with the MM and then a good buff with some brasso to make it shine!
Hope it all works out as planned!
Will also post some pics of the completed pen!
Comments, suggestions and help always appreciated!!
