I have been having problems with snakewood pens. Some will split in a few hours, some will take weeks andsome are okay. I have tried reducing the heat applied to the pen when drilling and finishing. This did not help. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks, Jack

I figured it out after turning about a dozen snakewood pens one weekend.
You can have my share-----never had any luck----they all cracked-- junk a waste of time-- who needs the hassel---and the list goes on and on and on
