I ordered a few of the preproduction LeRoi V2 click pens from Smitty's and finally had a chance to use one over the weekend for a gift.
I followed, or at least thought I followed the directions completely. For the life of me I could not make the mechanism work. It would work out of the pen, but not inside the pen.
I wrote to Smitty and asked for suggestions. Even though it is the weekend, and a holiday weekend at that, he responded with suggestions not once, twice, but three times until he made sure I was able to make the pen work to my satisfaction.
He definitely went above and beyond what I would expect by responding on a weekend and in such a timely matter. He even told me to try some things, and not to worry if I messed parts up as he would replace them if needed.
As it turns out it was my lack of experience and fear of ruining the mechanism that created the issue. One drop of CA was all that it took to fix my issue.
