Small Purse Pen

For those familiar with this pen...I've only turned and assembled one and I have found that the cap does not fit very tightly on either end of the pen and I'm wondering how to correct this. My inclination is to build a layer of CA glue on the inside of the cap to tighten the fit. Any other suggestions? And, is this common or do I have a one-of-a-kind?

Is this the kit with the plastic sleeve in the cap? I have done several of those and not had any problems. You may need to adjust the sleeve in or out to tighten the fit of the cap.

That's the one. Are you saying that if I back out the plastic sleeve it will hold the two parts together more firmly? I'll try that but the fit is also loose at the opposite end......

Try to adjust the sleeve and see if that works. Also check the sleeve to see if it has any cracks. If cracked, it may not hold securely.
