I have a buyer for a Sierra G&BTi, currently in my inventory. It is showing a little tarnishing on the Gold Titanium. I didn't think that could happen, actually. Will tarnish removers / silver polishers get rid of it without hurting the (remaining) finish?

Have you tried just wiping it with a paper towel? Under what conditions was the pen stored? What finish did you use?

Was the pen put in the roll soon after applying the CA? As CA cures, the vapors that it gives off will cause titanium gold (and other platings and plastic parts as well - DAMHIKT) to tarnish. I have success in removing the tarnish with Ren Wax.

Yes to both of your questions. I'd give the CA finish at least a few days, and more like a week or more, to completely off gas.

Thanks! I just happen to have some of that wax, and it has done the job. Now I can just sell this one and won't have to buy a whole new kit. Although I should since this pen is a real looker. Later on maybe.
