Does anyone out there use the Skewchigouge with any regularity? If so, please tell me about your experiences with this tool. Thanks.:)

Thanks for the question and the answer, I have been looking at this kinda like it was my next "gotta have" tool. Does this look like a good price? I just gotta set back and listen.

I use the Skewchigouge extensively. It is the best tool I have for shaping deer antler. (a least for me[:)]). It is a very different shape from the Spindlemaster. The spindlemaster is made from flat stock while the 'Skew' is made from found stock. "Old Griz" uses the Spindlemaster.

Yes, I do own that tool, use it rarely. It acts like a scraper and leaves a great finish, but it is slow. If you are new, it can't hurt you-won't catch and can make a nice cove.
