This is a piece of (pretty boring) English Walnut Root Burl. It needed a little dressing up, so I put it in the CNC mill, routed the web pattern and filled it with gold mica PR. Kinda chubby, with a Bock 6mm nib.

Thanks for looking.
Doug

Was it a six weeks in the making due to the code that the CNC needed? or??

I like it, certainly haven't seen one like it around here(YMMV, I haven't seen one)

Scott

There were lots of stops and starts -- tried the barrel with another design, didn't care for it, went to the web design, ruined a couple of pieces getting the cap right, took a week off to go to Spring Training in Phoenix (we were snowed in at Sedona, believe it or not), did my taxes, yadda yadda....
