This is my second attempt at a slimline that turns at the tip.

The wood is Lilac. My personal favorite, Lilac takes a high polish not unlike rosewood. Then if your lucky, you can find streaks of purple mixed into the creamy color of the wood.

I leave most of my pens with a matte finish, but Lilac would shine up really high if required.

Thanks everyone.
LittleMissCreative, Check out the IAP article http://content.penturners.org/library/pens/1_piece_slimline.pdf

I followed the one piece slimline instructions, but I also added a closed end to make the pen look more like one of the dip pens.

I used a regular slimline kit, tried to measure out the depth for both the brass barrels then glued the top barrel at the deep end of the pen. Then used the closed end pen mandrel from Arizona pens and carefully turned the point to avoid going through the top barrel. Once done with that I followed the rest of the instructions from Don Ward.

Thanks for the interest.
Brian
