"Simply" maple & resin

Wood meets resin (green). The horizontal slits were filled with green PR and pressurized at 40 PSI for a day. Precision cuts are the challenge here, no room for error or else the design will be thrown off. Fun idea to combine two mediums and mate them together. This little experiment has already spawned some more ideas that I will be persuing down the road. As always your comments are encouraged.

I know what you mean...I have several "not so perfect attempts" and it's amazing how a fraction of an inch can throw the whole thing off. Well done!

Do ya think a fence that is accurate to 1/64th of an inch would do? If so I would need to find a saw blade with a verrrrrry thin kerf as I don't think a 1/8" blade will be thin enough. This is also what has kept me from attempting to do any Celtic knots. :frown:

Before anyone says it, the fence I use is not one that would fit on my bandsaw! I tried it and it just fell off when I let go ... and yes, I caught it!
