Two pens I turned the other day both are mesquite with turquoise the finish is craft coat. I tried craft coat on these two pens after reading how well it works. I like the product, it goes on easly and dries quickly so you can apply several coats in a matter of minutes with no strong odors to deal with. My only complaint is the nozzle on the bottle leaked and I had to put the product in a squeeze bottle.

Those look really nice, adding the turquoise is a nice touch. The craft coat looks to have give a nice finish.

William, Sorry, but IMHO, it doesn't POP for me.
It doesn't look like the Turquoise Bands belong on these pens.
I would love it as a Band on a two piece pen, where the Turquoise (true stone) would be far enough away from the ends, and hardware pieces, to standout on its own, framing the two Blanks
That said, Your Mesquite Blanks are Beautiful, as is your Fit and Finish.
