Getting ready for this weekend's show in Sumter, SC ( 1st pic). Hope they sell. Have another on the lathe BUT Murphy struck and the start cap started smoking ( see second photo).

Bud Vases are left to right: cherry, red gum and ambrosia maple. All about 4-6 inches tall.

Nice work, I like them all.

Hope you haver better luck with them than I have. Brought 12 vases to last show I did, large to small, different woods priced from $20 to $50, and sold only two. Ditto on bowls-brought a ton of them and sold very few. I'm not the best turner, but this was nice stuff. Go figure.

Pens are what sell for me. Especially high end. Frankly, I would have never figured.

Do you make pens as well?

Oh yes, Many pens, pencils, rollerballs as well as some ornamental birdhouses and lots of smaller bowls now the bud vases.. we'll see how it goes as it a 3 day event in Sumter SC.

That's a pretty cool shape on the center vase you have there! If by shape alone, that'd be my favorite....but all look very nice.

Great mixture of timber too....
