Shed snake skin

Firstly apologies for my 2 previous posts and the size of the images. I have just found out they should have been resized and hope these are better now I found an app for phone to do it.

This blank I cast has Californian King Snake shed skin. I initially tried just the skin on painted tubes but it was too transparent. As I have access to the actual snake we got a picture and then used that as a decal under the shed.

As you still have "access" to the snake, is this a collaboration pen? Good work.

As a snake keeper, I have regular access to shed skins and often wondered how this would look on a pen. Considering how transparent the shed skins are, your pen came out looking good.

oh my, Over the years that I had snakes, I could have had a quad-axle dumptruck full of sheds. Whoda thunk!!! Neat idea!
