Sharpie Tap

Received the tap offered in the recent group buy on Saturday so I decided to rough out a blank to see how it works. The threads were fairly tight in the Lucite blank I used. I used the tap to thread one end of the blank for the Sharpie refill 1751000 and made threads on the other end to fit Sharpie refill 1800730. Will try to turn and finish the pen this week.

Same thread for both refills?

They are not the same thread. The Sharpie tap made to fit the 1751000 is 0.45 x 26 tip. The 1800730 looks like some sort of modified acme thread.

Got the two end caps rough turned and threaded. Remove one or the other depending on which refill is in use.
