This is a Shamrock Green Lucite from Exotic Blanks on a chrome zen. Reverse painted green (with Ceramcoat). Tubes glued in with white Gorilla Glue.

Not really sure I am sold on the Lucite. It is a pain to drill (once again my drill bit got stuck as it neared completion) and it is harder to turn (lighter cuts). In the end I guess I am just not that impressed with the final product. I've seen PR that looks as good.....but that is just me.

I will say that this pen has one of my best finishes to date. I micromeshed to 12000 and then buffed with the Barry Gross system.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Looks great Gary! I really like that color green and the kit shows it off nicely!

I share the same opinion of Lucite as you do...not completely sold on it yet. The difference that I see as compared to other acrylics is that the Lucite seems to have a more "crystal" looking quality which is nice. I also find them more difficult to reverse paint as the paint doesn't want to stick that well.
