I am using a table saw.
Is there any true advantage in when cutting the pen blank not to cut through the blank? then fill it with the same thickness as the kerf thickness. Any ideas would be helpful
I see a disadvantage been not able to get the inserted piece of wood the same thickness.
If you cut through the pen blank the strength is only as good as the glue [CA]
