Hey guys!

Once in a while I get in the "let's make a segmented pen" mood.

Here is the results:

A vertex made with african blackwood, snakewood, amboyna burl, hondurian rosewood burl, spalted hackberry and chatoyant ironwood burl with CA finish.

A patriot made of cocobolo burl, amboyna burl, hondurian rosewood and afzelia burl with Renaissance Wax finish.

And a bonus, a patriot made from birch branch that felt last rainstorm, CA finished! ;)

Well, amboyna is my favorite burl and the second pen shows a really nice blank, I don't personally care for either pen with the different woods butting up against each other.

I would think some thin .025" silver washers or even some aluminum strips seperating the different wood would make the pen look much nicer.
