Okay my photography skills are not too great but I had to show this to someone I hope can really appreciate it. This pen has over 112 different species (Yes that's species not pieces). Each layer is a different continent/land. If my memory is correct (from top to bottom) its South America (SA), North America (NA), NA, Hawaii, Africa, SA, Asia, Austr., NA, SA, and Africa. Europe is represented in the veneers.
This pen was given to a Scouts Woodbadge course director, whom I've known for a number of years. Ken did the box. He appreciated it but I don't think he really realized the amount of work that went into it. It is a sterling silver plated Baron. Your comments or questions are welcome (although I'll be gone until Friday night so I'll be a little slow to respond). Thanks, Bob I.
